Though April showers may come your way, they bring the flowers that bloom in spring! Now it’s time to spring right on into summer! With Ashlie’s “Smooth Sailing” and “Spring Scents” paintings on the calendar, all I can do is think of beautiful spring weather. This is a great time of year to get together with family and friends. So choose a masterpiece from The Paint Cellar’s calendar and plan a party!
Looking for an easy and refreshing drink for your party? Try Mint Lime Grapefruit Fizz. Combine juice from three limes and one orange, with a teaspoon of lime zest, one tablespoon of fresh mint, and three cups of fizzy grapefruit spritzer. Add ice and some mint leaves for a finishing touch. For an easy to eat treat, take some ice cream sugar cones (the ones shaped like a cone,) and fill them with a mixture of your favorite berries like raspberries and blueberries. It tastes wonderful and you don’t have to wash any bowls or plates!
